Adult & Senior Therapy
During individual adult therapy, a client will meet one-on-one with a therapist for about 50 minutes. Some clients might see a therapist for a few sessions while other people continue treatment for a longer period of time - the frequency of therapy sessions depends on the needs of the client.
We know talking to a counselor for the first time can feel awkward or embarrassing. Memorial Counseling Associates' therapists are experienced clinicians and are skilled at developing rapport and trust.
During individual therapy we will work with you to decrease symptoms, learn effective management tools and coping skills and gain a better understanding of the origin of your problems.
