Expanding Your Horizons is an exciting hands-on career conference designed for girls in sixth, seventh and eighth grades who are curious, welcome a challenge and like to have fun! The conference, which is four hours long, takes place every year on a Saturday in March. Parents and educators are invited to attend sessions designed just for them to learn how to keep girls on track for success in math, science and technology.
Expanding Your Horizons is an annual event presented and sponsored by the American Association of University Women, Springfield, Illinois branch and co-sponsored by The Children’s Center, a Memorial Health System affiliate, and the University of Illinois at Springfield.
