The three mental health centers of MHCCI offer medical services to individuals whose mental illness requires medical expertise. Psychiatrists and nurses provide clinical care including diagnoses, medication and education for clients. The medical and nursing staff carefully and continuously monitor all medications prescribed at MHCCI. A comprehensive assessment is completed with every individual who seeks services at MHCCI, including those who seek psychiatric treatment. Upon completion of the assessment, the therapist will make a recommendation as to additional services required. It is critical that clients keep all medical appointments, as prescriptions cannot be renewed without a regular check-up.
