Logan-Mason Rehabilitation Center offers a full continuum of services to individuals with disabilities. Through an individualized treatment planning process, our services are tailored to the needs of each individual and family who come to LMRC. Services that are available include:
* Developmental Training Program,
* Regular Work Program,
* Community Employment and
* Community Support Services

Developmental Training
The Developmental Training Program is designed to enhance the individual's skills in activities of daily living to lead the individual to independence and economic self-sufficiency. Through instruction and training, the individual is prepared for less restrictive instructional and work settings. Developmental Training provides a three-fold approach to meeting the needs of the developmentally disabled adult.
* Provide the participants instruction and practice in occupational skills.
* Provide experience in human interaction skills to practice proper social behaviors in a work-type setting.
* Introduce participants to a work-type setting through vocational skills.
Instructional training is individualized, and is reflective of each participant’s needs. The training in a given area may be provided in a formalized method, or in an informal method.

Regular Work
The Regular Work Program (RWP) offers the opportunity to learn good work habits and safety in a realistic work atmosphere. The RWP has a dual focus. The first is to provide employment for an individual for whom, due to limitations, habilitation becomes the prime vocational objective. The second focus is upon those individuals who may need additional preparation prior to achieving competitive employment within the community. Whether the vocational objective is habilitation or rehabilitation, the ultimate purpose of the RWP is to provide the individual with a sense of dignity through remunerative work.
Objectives:
* Provides a paying job for the person in a safe and realistic atmosphere.
* Encourages disciplined work habits, interpersonal relations with supervisors and co-workers, and promotes work tolerance consistent with the person's potential.
* Uses equipment modification and techniques to help the individual achieve success on the job.
* Provides fringe benefits of paid sick days, vacation, and holidays, insurance and retirement to qualified participants.
* Assists the person in overcoming his/her limitations to employment and creates a self-image as a productive, contributing member of society.

Community Employment Services
This program is provided to persons with disabilities to identify, obtain, maintain, and advance in employment. Services include preparation of the person for employment, job development, placement in supported employment, job coaching, follow-up and post-employment services.
Objectives:
* Job Development - Seek out employment opportunities within the community.
* Pre-employment Preparation - Assess the appropriateness of the person for job placement services for either competitive or supported employment.
* Job Placement - Assist the person in understanding job location, duties, rates of pay, personnel benefits, employment policies and practices, union membership policies when applicable, and the impact of employment on disability benefits prior to job acceptance.
* Supported Employment - Provide on-going support, both on and off the job, to persons with disabilities who require support to choose, obtain, and maintain employment in the community.
* Employment Follow-up - Provide assistance to persons not in Supported Employment to make sure the employer and employee are meeting each others’ expectations.
* Post-Employment Services - Assistance is provided to the person as needed after one year of follow-up.

Community Support Services

The individual may reside in his or her own home or in the natural family home. These services are provided through a Community Support Team that consists of a Qualified Mental Retardation Professional (QMRP) and staff providing direct services in the natural environment.
